Staff and residents at Woodside Grange are holding an Easter raffle to raise money to put towards the resident’s garden area. Last year, with money raised from our raffles, we were able to purchase a new garden table and chairs for residents and families to enjoy spending time together in the enclosed garden. With this year's raffle we are hoping to purchase some hanging baskets that the residents can tend to and to bring some colour to the garden. Gardening improves both your mental and physical health by keeping you active and helping people with dementia to relax. The therapeutic benefits of gardening, visiting garden centres and being outdoors is unrivalled.
