Guisborough Manor's Memory Care unit accommodates ladies and gentlemen who suffer from diverse stages of cognitive impairments, dementia, delirium etc.

In days gone by Doreen worked in a bakery and after having her 5 children returned to work in domestic cleaning in a local school. Doreen also became a school dinner lady.

Doreen checked paper work and assisted in preparing the activity room with games, puzzles and colouring materials for the other residents on the unit to enjoy.

Doreen then assisted our housekeeper Julie with the laundry delivery . Doreen said she “ worked hard but the day was good”.
