Flowers & Friendships
The residents of Guisborough Manor Roseberry Unit along with Deputy Manager Alishia, and senior care assistant Jan, and care assistants Debbie and Jayne spent an afternoon, making some beautiful flower arrangements, reminiscing about their gardens, flowers, and giving and receiving flowers.
Janet commented: she loved her garden and would spend the day pruning, and tending to her beautiful garden over looking the Yorkshire moors.
Jayce commented: she loves flowers, receiving and buying her own, they are so beautiful to see.
5 vase arrangements where completed and the residents decided the flower arrangements should be gifted to their friends who are managed in bed due to their conditions to brighten up their rooms, and their day. The residents in receipt of the flowers where over the Tulip fields!
Barbara commented: ohh how lovely they are, it’s a shame flowers don’t smell like they used to, but the are lovely thank you all very much.
Val commented: what a wonderful gesture, thank my ladies who visit me daily for a natter and a drink, they have made my day. Every time I look at them I will think of my lovely friends I have made here.
Bernard commented: I used to buy my wife beautiful roses and bouquets, she always liked to get flowers.
Richard and Janet also decided to decorate themselves, they are as pretty as a picture don’t you agree?
