National Fitness Day 2024

Let's sit less and move more on Wednesday 18th September 2024 when we will be supporting our residents with a full day of planned exercise. Why not come long and join in?

We have a great schedule of activities planned including:

  • 10am - Wake up shake up.
  • 12pm - "Windermere Walk" let's get those steps in and walk around the home.
  • 2pm - Let's dance the afternoon away with a little line dancing.

Make every move count and exercise your mind and body, The benefits of physical exercise include:

  • Helps maintains a healthy weight
  • Strengthens bone and muscle
  • Reduces the risk of disease
  • Improves mood
  • Reduces falls and fractures
