NEAS and Willow Green have linked with the purpose of offering placement support for the young individuals within the NEAS school in Aycliffe.

For the past few weeks, we have been visited by several individuals, who come to Willow Green and spend time chatting with the residents.

We have been visited by Tom who has an excellent personality, very open, honest, and extremely chatty. He has built up a fantastic relationship with the residents, who always enjoy his visits, generally sitting talking about their pasts, likes and dislikes.

Tom always takes the time to visit the residents who are currently bed bound and again has built a good rapport. The residents also enjoy having tea and snacks with him.

Although Tom’s placement has now finished, he has asked if he can come back to continue his chats and of course we at Willow Green would welcome him back at any time.
