The list doesn’t stop there, with the idea that by the time they have finished training they would appreciate the care given in any care home.

Our first two candidates were Ashley Hawes and Elaine McIntyre and we must admit to having some trepidation whether we would meet expectations. However, it went well and both paramedics were fantastically keen, inquisitive, and very knowledgeable. They spent time with management, nurses, seniors’ staff, and residents.

A quote from both was “it was really good, fun and informative” and good crack said Ash.

We wish them well in their career and would welcome them to Willow Green anytime.

Though a word to any future placements they go to: have plenty of tea and coffee available and Ash does like some cake and custard 😊.
